This role is ideal for a commercially-minded, brand-savvy consultant who thrives on autonomy and is confident operating in cross-functional, client-facing environments. You may be an experienced freelancer or an independent consultant looking to plug into meaningful work with a values-driven team.

  • Lead or contribute to strategy development projects (e.g. go-to-market strategy, brand positioning, messaging frameworks, customer segmentation)
  • Facilitate client workshops and discovery sessions to uncover insight, identify challenges, and define opportunities
  • Translate complex business goals into clear, actionable strategic plans
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders (CMO, COO, CEO)
  • Advise on campaign planning, marketing operations and team structures
  • Provide strategic direction across the delivery of brand, content and performance marketing initiatives
  • Recommend tools, frameworks and measurement approaches to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI
  • Support creative and execution teams with strategic oversight and feedback
  • Work flexibly across client projects in collaboration with Magnus leads
  • Input into proposals, discovery phases, or client pitches when required
  • Act as a trusted advisor, bringing outside-in perspective, clarity, and challenge to the table
  • 8+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, brand/marketing strategy, or senior marketing roles (B2B focus preferred)
  • Strong strategic thinking across brand, marketing and customer experience
  • Confidence working with executive-level stakeholders and contributing to C-suite level conversations
  • Proven experience driving impact in complex or fast-paced commercial environments
  • Experience in mid-market and/or scale-up contexts across sectors like tech, SaaS, fintech, private equity-backed businesses
  • Clear, concise communication and facilitation skills
