Clarity and connection: engaging CEOs to deepen buyer relationships
A global logistics and supply chain company wanted to strengthen relationships with senior customers and open more strategic conversations. Magnus helped design and deliver a CEO roundtable series on risk and resilience, creating a trusted forum for peer-to-peer dialogue and cross-sector insights. The programme has deepened engagement at the highest level, enhanced the customer experience, and positioned the business as a strategic partner on issues that matter most to its clients.
Our Role
Whilst the logistics company had the vision for a CEO series, Magnus supported the naming and positioning of the series, grounding it in research on CEO priorities and helping identify where to focus – selecting risk and resilience as the central theme that would resonate most strongly with senior leaders.
We worked with the team to design the sessions as small, peer-to-peer roundtables under Chatham House rules, with discussion guides to encourage open and focused conversation. We also supported the capture of key points from each session and the development of concise post-event summaries, helping ensure insights could be shared more widely and used to inform ongoing engagement.
The series will culminate in an annual report on risk and resilience, consolidating these cross-sector learnings and making them accessible for all customers.

The Impact
The roundtables gave senior customers a trusted forum to share priorities with peers, gain cross-sector perspectives, and carry the value forward through concise takeaways.
For the logistics company, this enhanced the customer experience and built conversations to deliver key account growth and trust at the highest level. It also produced a valuable asset in the forthcoming annual report on risk and resilience and created openings for more strategic account.
