Mambu is a fast growth SaaS banking platform enabling banks, lenders, fintechs and retailers to fast-track their design and build of financial solutions. After a period of fast growth, they needed to focus on delivering the next stage of their strategy with a more mature marketing function, so they could continue to meet investors’ expectations.
Our Role
Magnus transformed the role of marketing within the organisation, defined the KPIs and marketing strategy for the next 12 months and restructured the team to build a streamlined, focused marketing team to accelerate marketing influenced growth in the business. We created new ways of working with sales and customer success and introduced a ‘retention’ marketing discipline.

The Impact
Through a Magnify gap analysis we identified challenges and opportunities across the 5 Ps (Plan, People, Process, Product and Performance). By providing clarity on the purpose and role for the newly restructured marketing team as well as consolidating third-party agency network we reduced OpEx and set the team up to do more with less. With an effective strategy, redefined processes, simplified frameworks, team productivity and focus on the right activities increased.
Magnus partnered with us to reimagine marketing so that we can deliver short-term business goals, while building a foundation for longer-term growth. They ensured a successful transformation by driving the change management from within, so that we became a more empowered team with a clear structure, roles, and KPIs.
