  • Build and execute our B2B digital PR engine (coverage + backlinks)
  • Strengthen Magnus’s credibility through awards (research, categories, submissions and case studies)
  • Expand speaker opportunities for our Managing Partner and Partners through industry events, partnerships, and collaborations
  • Build Magnus’s reputation and reach across the B2B marketing and growth ecosystem

This is a freelance engagement for someone who can hit the ground running, bring contacts and structure from day one, and operate as a trusted PR partner to help Magnus build a stronger industry presence through highly credible visibility channels.

  • Secure coverage in high-quality B2B marketing publications and industry platforms
  • Drive a measurable increase in backlinks to magnusconsulting.co.uk through proactive pitching and placement strategy
  • Translate Magnus expertise into strong angles, commentary and stories that editors want to run
  • Build and manage relationships with key publications, journalists and contributors
  • (Bonus) Support evolving AI search visibility strategy through authority-building PR activity
  • Identify and prioritise relevant B2B marketing awards aligned to Magnus’s positioning
  • Develop category strategy, frameworks and submission plans for 2026
  • Support creation of compelling case studies, entries and award-ready narratives with Partners and consulting teams
  • Source and secure speaker engagements, panels, and industry collaborations for the Managing Partner and Partners
  • Build relationships with organisers, networks, and strategic partners across the B2B ecosystem
  • Support talk themes, abstracts and speaker positioning to strengthen Magnus credibility and visibility
  • 5+ years’ experience in Digital PR / PR / earned media (agency or in-house)
  • Strong, proven track record securing B2B editorial coverage (not consumer lifestyle PR)
  • Demonstrable impact in link-building / SEO-driven PR outcomes
  • Existing network across B2B marketing publications, awards, and event organisers
  • Confident pitching ability, with clear understanding of what editors and platforms want
  • Experience supporting or owning awards submissions and case study storytelling
  • Strong writing, narrative-building and positioning skills
  • Strong organisation skills to manage multiple pipelines (press, awards, speakers)
  • Ability to work independently and deliver consistently in a part-time structure
  • Collaborative approach with senior stakeholders (Partners / leadership team)
  • Experience supporting thought leadership strategies in consultancy environments
  • Knowledge of AI-driven search and how PR signals support visibility and authority
  • Familiarity with B2B growth, demand generation, or brand-building in complex markets
  • Part-time: 2 days per week (this can be 2 full days or ½ days, we are flexible)
  • Rate: approx. £375 per day
  • Remote-first, with flexibility for occasional in-person collaboration on a Tuesday (Central London)
